Changes due to Stay At Home Orders

Dear Alta Vista Students and Parents,

Last night, the Governor of California issued a stay at home order, and we are working hard to ensure we are compliant with this order. We want you to know that we are serving lunch and breakfast on Monday March 23 until June 30, 2020. The students can pick up one lunch and one breakfast for the next day at 11:00 am until 12:30 pm. The students can still pick up a chrome book on Monday morning. However, the instructional packets will be delayed for a week as we make the necessary adjustments. Please be patient as we work through the endless changes we are now facing. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school. The office will be accepting calls from 8:00am until 12:oopm daily. Thank you for your understanding as we work through these challenges together.

Sincerely yours,

Robert M. Hudson Ed.D. Superintendent

Alta Vista Closure March 23, 2020

Dear Alta Vista Family,

Thank you very much for your patience as Alta Vista School works through the COVID-19 issue. The District is working closely with the Tulare County Office of Education and the Tulare County Health Department to ensure that we are making the best decision possible that reflects our deepest regard for our students and families. At this time we feel that closing the school is a sound precautionary move thus reflecting the concerns of the community and at the same time protecting our students. This closure will take place on March 23, 2020 and will continue until further notice or until governmental proclamation.
