Seclusion and Restraint Report 2025
Seclusion is the removal of a student from instruction. The student is placed in a room alone and cannot leave on their own free will. The process that most closely aligns with the definition of seclusion is In-School Suspension.
In 2024-2025, Alta Vista had zero (0) occurrences of seclusion.
Restraint is the use of physical holds or mechanical devices to limit a child's movement. The physical holds used by Alta Vista are a part of CPI. Several staff members on campus are trained in the use of CPI. In the 2024-2025 school year, there were zero (0) occurrences of the use of physical restraint and zero (0) uses of mechanical restraint.

Guide to Immunizations required for School Entry Grades TK/K - 12
In order to attend school in California, students must have proof of all required immunizations (or a valid exemption as discussed below). Required immunizations include DTaP, polio, MMR, hepatitis B, and varicella.
